General Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. Parties and scope
These terms govern the relationship between Kalimera Business SRL (VAT: RO18005949, Reg. Com.: J40/16606/2005, registered office: Bd. Iuliu Maniu 7, Cotroceni Business Center, Building A, 2nd floor, Bucharest), hereinafter “Kalimera”, and any natural or legal person requesting our services, hereinafter the “Client”.
The subject is the provision of language services: certified and notarized translations, localization, subtitling, dubbing, interpreting, graphic processing (DTP) and related services.
2. Quote and order
Any request is followed by a quote that includes the price and delivery deadline, valid for 15 calendar days unless otherwise stated. The order is firm upon the Client’s written confirmation, which constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in RON or EUR per the quote and exclude VAT unless expressly mentioned. Payment is made against the invoice issued by Kalimera. For large projects an advance may be requested. Late payment may incur penalties under applicable law and suspension of ongoing work.
4. Delivery
The delivery deadline is the one agreed in the quote and runs from order confirmation and receipt of all required materials. Changes requested mid-project may extend the deadline, with prior notice.
5. Quality and revisions
Each job is performed by a specialized translator and checked by a reviewer. The Client may report observations within 14 calendar days of delivery; justified corrections are made free of charge. Stylistic preferences that are not errors are not subject to free corrections.
6. Confidentiality
All materials received are treated as strictly confidential. On request, we sign dedicated non-disclosure agreements (NDA). Details on personal data processing are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Rights to the delivered translation transfer to the Client upon full payment. Kalimera retains the right to use internally developed translation memories and glossaries without disclosing the Client’s confidential content.
8. Liability
Kalimera’s liability is limited to the value of the service provided under the respective order. Kalimera is not liable for errors resulting from illegible, incomplete or post-delivery modified source materials, nor for delays caused by third parties or force majeure.
9. Cancellation
The Client may cancel an order in writing. For work already started, the Client owes the value of the part performed up to cancellation.
10. Disputes
The parties will seek amicable resolution of any dispute. Otherwise, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Bucharest. Consumers may also use ANPC – SAL or the European ODR platform.
11. Final provisions
Kalimera may update these terms periodically; the version applicable to an order is the one in force at order confirmation. Questions: office@kalimera.ro.
